Burnham Beeches Hotel, originally built in 1727, as a hunting lodge in what was then part of Windsor Park, the house afforded rest to the Royal hunting parties before resuming the chase.
In 1737 the English Poet, Thomas Gray, visited his uncle who owned the house and was inspired to write his "Elegy in a Country Churchyard". Later, the house, known as Cant's Hill,
became the property of the Clifton Brown family, famous for their association with the Palace of Westminster.
Today it's an elegant four star Berkshire hotel endorsed by the AA, ideally located in 10 acres of beautiful gardens and manicured lawns in a peaceful setting yet only minutes from the M4/M40,
Burnham railway station and Windsor town centre.
Offering 10 meeting rooms for 2-150 delegates and marquees accommodating up to 450 guests reception style for larger events,
the extensive grounds are the ideal location for various teambuilding activities.
All of our meeting rooms enjoy natural daylight, most are air-conditioned and some enjoy access to private garden areas. The hotel boasts 82 bedrooms in a variety of styles,
most with air-conditioning. The hotel completed an extensive refurbishment in 2008.
"Classic" Bedrooms, designed to make your over night stay enjoyable, comfortable and relaxing
"Feature" Bedrooms, located within the original Georgian Mansion, are designed and furnished in a traditional country house style some with four-poster beds,
and views of the lawns and woodland beyond.
"Executive" Bedrooms and Suites, designed and furnished by Laura Ashley, were a new addition to the hotel in 2007 and offer guests everything they need in contemporary and stylish surroundings.
Complimentary WiFi is the latest facility to be introduced to Burnham Beeches Hotel. The wifi extends throughout the hotel including all meeting rooms, public areas and bedrooms
AA rosette awarded Grays Restaurant is a popular choice for all, with seasonal menus and locally sourced produce where possible.
Leisure facilities onsite include; swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis courts, pitch and putt golf and extensive grounds to relax in walks.
With Christmas around the corner, Burnham Beeches Hotel has been and is a popular venue for Christmas parties from 2 - 120 guests for both private and joiner parties.
