Exclusive Boutique Hotel Sigiriya

Exclusive Boutique Hotel Sigiriya

Constructed on an elephant corridor between Minneriya National Park and Sigiriya National Park, the Elephant Corridor Hotel captures the essence of nature, history and wildlife. Built with minimal disruption to the ecosystem, wild elephants find it natural to walk up to the hotel lobby or through the pathways of the hotel while monitors and wild peacocks roam our immaculately groomed lawns at sunset. With only 21 suites scattered throughout the property, find ultimate relaxation and privacy in this luxury boutique hotel. Experience the extravagance of our en-suite accommodation, enjoy fine wine and refined dining in the magical atmosphere of our restaurant, relax in your private plunge pool, go on an exciting excursion and enjoy a variety of activities and sports including an Ayurveda massage at our Om Wellness Spa. Enjoy a melange of luxury, seclusion and serenity in the wilderness at our exclusive boutique hotel in Sri Lanka, and dwell in the habitat of these majestic animals.

The Elephant Corridor Hotel is located in a small village called Kimbissa, which is a mere four kilometres away from the Sigiriya Rock Fortress. It is twenty minutes away from the ancient city of Dambulla which is approximately 165 kilometres from Colombo and is in the north central region of the island. You can reach Dambulla by taking the main road to Anuradhapura and the drive, from Colombo, takes approximately four hours. Our exclusive luxury hotel combines grandeur and tranquillity as it is surrounded by majestic hills, lakes, nature and history.
Dambulla's attractions include the largest and best preserved cave temple complex of Sri Lanka, the Golden Temple of Dambulla. It is also home to the Rangiri Dambulla International Cricket Stadium which can seat approximately 16,800.
Dambulla is a place of great importance in Sri Lankan history. The Buddhist monks meditating in the caves in the city provided refuge to King Valagamba during his 14 year exile from the Anuradhapura kingdom. When he returned to the throne, he built the Golden Temple of Dambulla to show his gratitude to the monks.
Sigiriya, the great rock fortress and UNESCO proclaimed world heritage site is one of the greatest archaeological legacies. It is an important part of Sri Lankan history and culture and its calibre can be sensed as you view the large formation of the rock from the reception area of our hotel.
